Information for exhibitors
You must be a member of Fjends Kunstforening to be able to exhibit at the Spring Exhibition.Below you will find all the information you need, if you want to exhibit your artworks! Each member can exhibit 6 works. It costs DKK 40 per. work. Free admission for members / exhibitors both exhibition days + free catalog!
Delivery of works: Friday 7 March 2025 at 15.30-18.00 i STOHOLM LEISURE AND CULTURE CENTER, Søndergade 56, 7850 Stoholm.
Remember! When you arrive on Friday afternoon with your works, you must go through the "lock", where you will be given a set of work numbers, which MUST be put on the walls next to or under wall-hung works - or placed on or near the podiums in connection with sculptures and installations.
You will be directed to where space is set aside for your works. You are responsible for the hanging or bring your own podiums in place. Your works must be provided with eyelets and cords on the back, so that they can be hung on the hooks we hand out together with cords intended for ordinary gallery rails.
The suspension on your works must be able to support the works so that they do not fall off the walls and break during the exhibition. The teacher's chewing gum, tape and the like are not accepted as sound suspension!
Write name, address, telephone number and e-mail on the back of the works, so we can locate you, if something goes wrong. You bring your own. podiums / tables and other necessities for sculptures.
No advertisements at the works or at the Spanish walls: Podiums / tables may not be set up with advertisements, decorations, sales material, business cards or anything else at your works. Business cards and advertisements can be placed on tables at the entrance to the exhibition.
Sales: You are welcome to sell your works at the exhibition. However, they must only be removed when the exhibition ends on Sunday at 16.00. The association takes no commission in connection with the sale. You trade directly with any buyer.
All works are hung / exhibited at the exhibitor's own risk.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to use photos of the exhibited works, for free use on the website, in catalog, on poster, leaflets, newspapers and the like, as well as moving the works to a different place in the exhibition than the one originally designated.
Communal dining for members and helpers
We eat together on Friday, when everything is up on the hooks. Mail Anni Bjerregaard for more details.
Censors:
Before the exhibition opens to the public on Saturday, six censors give a number of works "the blue stamp". The exhibitors who wish to do so can get advice and guidance from the censors about their own works on Saturday at 13.00 - 17.00. The guidance takes place at the exhibition and the audience is welcome to listen.
The exhibition is open to the public:
Saturday, March 8 at 13.00 - 17.00
Sunday 9 March at 10.00 - 16.00
Pick-up: Sunday 10 March at 16.00-16.30
Works that have been registered and hung at this exhibition must remain in their place until the exhibition ends - so the exhibition is a whole until Sunday at 16.00.
Helpers
It is a big, but also nice job, to get ready and hang up. Commitment for help in the period Friday afternoon from kl. 13.00 - 18.00 received with gratitude. Contact the association's secretary Rolf Sanderhoff, so we know in advance how many helpers we have.
Payment
Payment for works: DKK 40 per art work
Dining: DKK 200 per participant
